When Lord Dronovic returns to his home
after 4 years away serving the king he finds the child he had been
forced to marry grown more than anyone could have expected, not to
mention ready to speak her mind about what she wants, but when you marry
a Princess what should a man expect... the property had come into the family in the two
hundred years since the first had stepped on these shores. But when the
opportunity came to expand it with a generous dowry from the King of the
Orkney’s, his father had taken the offer quickly enough.
Reviews:
Lord Dronovic is a well-researched
and cheerfully wry tale which will inspire readers and perhaps awaken an
interest in this fascinating historical period. As with all Jennifer
Mueller’s stories, this is well worth reading.

Lord Dronovic breezes with romance and passion, transporting the reader
into a beautiful love story. I found Jódís a determined woman in all her
actions. I thought the way she sought to keep the land under development
while Dronovic was away showed great strength, as well as her love for
him. Dronovic’s personality is quite charming and I love the way he and
Jódís have a simmering relationship once he returns, almost like a
courtship. Jennifer Mueller tells a picturesque tale of two charismatic
people who have a thriving love that endures. Her characters are duty
bound to each other, but still, the flames of passion they hold for the
other is priceless in this enchanting read.
