Luc has gone through a terrible time with
the Saracens. His love for his wife is undaunting and he bravely sets
about getting his life in order, still hoping to be able to find her and
live the rest of his days with her. This is a beautiful story of undying
love and perseverance.
The plot reads smoothly and keeps the
reader enthralled. Her characters are multi-dimensional and reach into
the reader’s heart. Ms. Mueller uses vivid imagery and a good plot to
hold the readers attention. The reader will be rushing to the end of
this book to see if there is a happy end. This reviewer enjoyed this
story immensely and it was a joy to read.

This
quick tale gives insight into true love and devotion. Passion
has kept the spirits of Luc and Genevieve strong, but they still
have much to get through. Jennifer Mueller’s retelling of past
events establishes a strong foundation for the romance and
introduces a few surprises. Many of the secondary characters
play an important role in this tale, and their lives are bound
up in Luc’s visions for the future. Crusader is an enjoyable
historical glimpse of one man’s strength and purpose to recreate
the life and love that was stolen from him.

This book was so sweet and so
full of disappointment which eventually (of course) turned around. Luc’s
search for his wife and child were frustrating and, in addition to their
missing status, there was the father to contend with. This book was
really enjoyable and I would recommend that
you read anything Ms. Mueller writes.
