Reviews:
I just loved this story and recommend it
which is odd for me since it’s a historical romance. I fell in love with Dulcie for here is a young woman who wants what every woman wants a man
to love her. This is hard for her when it’s her fourth season and new
women are competing for the affections of the men. Another character I
loved was Jack, talk about a persistent man. He is a man who is not only
sexy but will stop at nothing until Dulcie is in his life and his love
forever. From the first chapter, you can tell these two belong together
and when they are watch out because you will fall in love with these
characters, even Dulcie’s overprotective brothers. S.J. Ronayne
did such a beautiful job in this historical romance that I hope there’s
more of this family for Dulcie and Jack are truly soul mates and their
love is shown throughout the book.

Dulcie is the youngest
daughter of the Duke of Rothshire. She believes herself to be thick and
plain looking and has learned to live with the fact that men do not find
her attractive, this is her fourth season, and not one man has courted
her. So when her long time friend Jackson takes notice of her, and
begins to fill her dance card with the hints toward marriage she is
ecstatic. Until she accidentally finds out her parents asked him to
court her.
Jackson Cornell, Marquess of
Torningate, has loved Dulcie for as long as he can remember. So when her
parents request that he marry her, he jumps at the chance and is
determined to show her how wonderful they could be together, especially
behind closed doors. However, when she finds out about his and her
parents arrangement, she is crushed and humiliated, so she runs to her
family’s country estate. He follows her with the sole purpose of making
her understand. But can he convince her of his love or is it to late and
her hurt too deep?
S. J. Ronayne has written a
story of insecurities, scandal and love in a time when love was a rare
thing. This is such a touching story. I found myself unable to put it
down; from the very beginning I felt Dulcie’s pain and Jackson’s love
and their struggles to be together was wonderfully written. This is an
excellent story, which will keep the reader enthralled to the very end.
It will definitely be a keeper.

Bedeviling Dulcie
is a fantastic historical erotic romance. S.J. Ronayne has tackled
something many do not in English ton romances, the plump girl who
tends to be overlooked. I felt for the characters and thoroughly
enjoyed the twists and turns of the plot line. This debut author
has a long career in front of her if she continues to turn out
quality stories like Bedeviling Dulcie, and I
will definitely be one to purchase them."
