Caressa has been waiting for the offer of one particular man. She wants only Kirkland. One cold night, she learns the devastating reason he has never asked.

Kirkland does not believe a small woman is right for him, certainly unable to tolerate his forceful love-making. But the woman he wants is best suited with another. Taking advantage of Caressa at a wedding, he is forced to offer for the petite lady.
